Heidi The Game Rip Version On Netgear
I recently upgraded my Qwest DSL serviceand received a new modem/router (Actiontec Q1000). However, Ihave a Netgear WPN842v2 wireless routerthat I still wanted to use for a variety ofreasons including the ability to assign IPaddresses and an awesome wireless range.
Isearched for a long time and finally figured itout. Thought I'd post my findings. Whilethey're specific to my setup, I think the idea isgeneral enough that you should be able toapply it to just about any two routers. Hopethey help someone else. How I Setup 2 Routers on my home networkinternet/qwest network^ DSLv- Line In Actiontec Q1000 DSL Modem/Router LAN Port (192.168.0.1, default) -^ Ethernet cablev- WAN Port (192.168.0.2) Netgear WPN824v2 LAN Port (192.168.1.1) -^ Ethernet cablev- PC's Ethernet Port (192.168.1.2:19) PC -1.
